EU Project on Biodiversity in Formal Education - Call for Participation of Schools

Collaboration with Schools A call to register interest to participate in the user experience evaluation of the K2N project The project KeyToNature (K2N) is centered on the development of innovative tools for the identification of organisms, and on their introduction in the world of education, from primary schools to universities. It has a duration of 3 years (starting from September 3rd, 2007), and includes 14 partners from 11 European countries. Every school interested in the project is welcome to register itself for the users’ experiences which will be carried out during 2008–2010 in all participating countries. Selected tools (which are specifically designed for schools) will be introduced to the teachers of each country; the tools are in local languages. The users’ experiences will be carried out either in school lessons or during special courses, as suggested by the contact persons of each country. After the practical identification experiences the teachers are supposed to fulfill short evaluation forms prepared by our pedagogical specialists.
